Para poder aprovechar al máximo el espacio de carga de los vehículos es necesario tener en cuenta el “Stowage Factor” o coeficiente de estiba que no es más que la relación existente entre el volumen que ocupa nuestra mercancía y el peso. El coeficiente de estiba se suele expresar en m3/Ton. Y evidentemente varía mucho con cada tipo de mercancía. Es muy eficiente conocerlo con antelación.
